Introduction

Note: This documentation is intended to support the C47 and R47 Developer's Site designed by the C47/R47 Design Team.

The C47 and R47 are advanced versions of Hewlett-Packard's golden era of RPN Calculators. They are based on hardware developed by the SwissMicros flagship line of HP-style calculators. The C47 and R47 include many enhancements and modern hardware implementation, including the most precise calculations available in handheld devices today.

In the calculator images above, you can see the differences in the keyboard layout between the C47 and R47. The C47 on the right only has one yellow "shift" key, while the R47 has two: a yellow and blue "shift" key. The yellow shit key on the C47 mimics the blue shift on the R47 by pressing the yellow key twice. Otherwise, both calculators provide the same functionality.
